Reducer (Concentric/Ecentric)
Differences
- Concentric Reducer: Features a symmetrical, cone-like shape where both the inlet and outlet ends share a common center line. It is best used in vertical piping systems to maintain an in-line transition.
- Eccentric Reducer: Features an offset center line where one side remains flat and parallel to the pipe run. It is ideal for horizontal lines to prevent air pockets or liquid pooling and to facilitate drainage.
